Like your neighbors' farms!

What to do when you join:

  • ​Talk to us - say "hi."  If you remain silent, you'll probably be kicked pretty quickly.
  • Visit all of our farms and like them.  (It's the smiley face at the top of the screen when you visit!)  We will do the same!
  • Chat a few minutes before you ask for anything.  People who immediately request with no chat are holding a big red flag...

Our goals are simple:

  • We're all about fun.  We want to have fun playing Hay Day.  The game is a way to relax - so no drama!
  • Be social.  Participate in neighborhood chat.  If you don't talk to us from time-to-time, what's the point?
  • Be helpful to each other.  Everyone has goals - help others achieve their goals and they will help you!
  • Be fair to each other.  Nobody expects perfectly matched requests - but we don't accept greed.
  • We win derbies.  We are a competition hood, and expect anyone who opts in to hit the weekly goal - even if a few diamonds are required.
  • If you are interested in being an elder - that's great!  Understand we don't create elders lightly - it has to be earned.  (See the Elder page.)



  • Put Community > upgrades.  This means helping each other matters more than our next upgrade.
  • Play for fun!  Even though we help each other a lot, fun is the real goal.  Sometimes it's good to just play for your own sake!
  • Do what the elders do.  Though it's likely you won't see a promotion, set a good example.  It's the only way to elder.
  • Be positive and supportive.  Mean people suck - and we kick them with a smile.  :)


​​What not to do:

  • Do not be rude.  Opinions and differences of opinion are okay, name calling and disrespect are not.
  • Do not be greedy!  It's okay to ask for things if you need them - but be sure to give as well.  
  • Do not gouge your neighbors!  When we sell to neighbors, we almost always use the default price 
  • Do not join during the derby - we will assume you are a spy from a competing hood and interrogate you.  (Sad, but true, it happens a lot.)
  • Do not put anything in your join request except the word "Toothpick" - this is how we know to let you in, since you read our welcome!
