Nobody likes living next to an empty lot full of scrubby bushes, trees, boulders and mosquito-infested marsh land. Well now you don't have to! With our patent-pending Wonko-matic 9000 cipherin' system, we came up with a great way for you and your neighbors to help each other out. If you'll kindly direct your attention to the Stats page, you'll see Flu is trackin' your unopened land spots. If you have any, you'll be tickled pink to find out that the closer you are to fully upgraded, the faster your neighbors are going to help you out! So if you're close - aw heck, we're just gonna push you over the line to DONE in a hurry! If you're a little further away, just relax - we'll get to ya! Here's a "catch": we all know how important Fishin is - so we're gonna focus on that before we get to land. A place to stretch out is nice - but a place to fish - well that's just plumb necessary! Just like any other one, you don't have to play Wonko's games - but 9 out of 10 dentists agree you should!
There are some simple rules to follow. We have never failed to achieve the candidate's Turbo Truck achievement when we followed these rules!
Rule #1 - The candidate should have 9 green check marks on the order board before filling the first order. (Neighbors can help with this part too!)
Rule #2 - The candidate must never, ever, EVER throw away an order during the event. Even if it's for 999 diamond rings or worse. NEVER! NO!
Rule #3 - There must be at least 2 participants helping that are at or above the level of the candidate.
Rule #4 - The "one wheat protocol" is not used when posting items for a Turbo Truckin' candidate. Speed is important!
Rule #5 - Participants must make sure no items with ads are in their shop! "Visitors" will ruin our day otherwise! (Ask neighbors to buy ad items.)
Once the candidate has 9 orders ready to go, the Truckmaster says "GO!" and starts a 30 minutes timer.
The candidate fills the first order. If another check appears and the candidate can fill the next order, they can type "9 checks" while waiting...
If the next order that pops up cannot be filled - the candidate types the number and types of items - and thats all. For example:
"3 brn sugar, 3 fish brgrs!"
The participants determine whether they have these items. If a participant doesn't have the whole thing - they remain silent. If they do they type:
"Here"
Fortunately the game ensures everyone sees the same order in chat - so the candidate immediately goes to the shop of the first "Here" in the chat. Remember, the fastest way to get there is to tap the first "Here" response and then tap the "Visit" button!
The participant who was first should immediately put the items for sale at the default price in their shop. (Remember, no "single wheat" rule!)
The candidate continues to fill orders in this way.
While the candidate is madly filling orders, visiting shops, buying items and yelling out items, the Truckmaster occasionally announces the time remaining and how many green checks are on the candidate's board. (This can be determined by visiting the farm and looking closely.)
It's actually pretty nerve wracking for the candidate. A lot of pressure to get everything done and not waste all of the help they have been given.
Just take a deep breath, remember it's only a game, and HURRY THE TRUCK IS BACK! ZOMG!!!11!!
Eventually... Success!
Customarily we throw an emoji party once the award has been achieved.
We select a candidate who needs one of the Turbo Trucker achievements and help them fill truck orders quickly until they get it. Simple if we plan properly! One important part of planning is to make sure people will be on at the time of the Turbo Truckin' event. Someone should volunteer to "Truckmaster" the event and run it. This person negotiates a time, ensures enough people will be on, starts the event, keeps track of time, and generally keeps everyone pumped!
In the past, strategy for expanding a barn, silo or land was shop-til-you-drop, hoping to find the items you needed.
In the past, strategy for filling a boat was much the same.
In the past, strategy for time-based achievements like "Turbo Trucker" was stock up and hope for the best.
Or you could always spend your grocery money on diamonds...
There are a number of things we can do as a group that simply weren't possible or practical before neighborhoods. One of those is to coordinate and help each other with achievements and expansions!
Fish pies, fish burgers, frutti di mare pizza, fish soup, fish & chips, sushi... Dang! No wonder you're always runnin' out of fish fillets! Your prayers are about to be answered friends: If you haven't got all your fishin' spots unlocked - your neighbors are gonna make that dream come true! Take a gander at the Stats Page and you'll notice that the goregeous, talented and hyper-intelligent Flunista is watchin' your fishin' situation like a hawk! We want to help you get em all! Good news too if you been workin' at it: we're gonna upgrade whoever's closest to having them all open first - just to get you over the fish fixin' finish line! Hey - and once we got everybody in workin' order fish-wise - we're gonna get after that Land Levelin'! Just like any of sane ole Wonko's games, this one is optional. But I know you'll get a kick outa helpin' your neighbors!
Nobody likes a cramped barn! Fortunately Wonko has devised an ingenious plan to right-size that thing! He came up with a Barn Bustin' formula that any player at any level should be able to get comfy with. You can find your current capacity in the Barn Bustin' column on the Stats page. Now look to the right and you'll see a column called "Target." Our goal is for everyone to have a barn size that matches their level. If you're a good neighbor, we'll all help you get to your target size! Who do we help first? We help the person farthest from the the target first. If there is more than one neighbor the same distance from the target, we'll help the lowest level player first. It's easy! And fun!
Of course you don't have to participate - but we hope you will!
Tired of getting stuck in the middle of the harvest? Boy have we got good news for you! We got us a Silo Savin' formula that will get your silo to a size any player at any level should love! You can find your current capacity in the Silo Savin' column on the Stats page. Now look to the right and you'll see a column called "Target." Our goal is for everyone to have a silo size that matches their level. If you're a good neighbor, we'll all help you get to your target size! Who do we help first? We help the person farthest from the the target first. If there is more than one neighbor the same distance from the target, we'll help the lowest level player first. It's a hoot-hollerin' good time!
Of course you don't have to participate - but we hope you will!
